MDC instructors are experts in their field. Each shares their passion for dance with their students and gives their all.

SABINE - Director, Jazz
MARYNA GABLINA
Originally from Ukraine and trained with the prestigious Virsky National Company, Maryna has been teaching classical, pre-classical and awakening dance at the MDC since 2010.
Passionate, committed and close to her students, she passes on her knowledge with rigor, gentleness and kindness.

IRYNA LEVA
Originally from Ukraine, Iryna has trained in numerous traditional and folk dances and has traveled with various companies. Today, she teaches introductory dances for 4-5 year-olds and street jazz for intermediate beginners. Dynamic and full of energy, she shares her passion with enthusiasm and good humor.

BARBARA DA FONTE
Barbara, an adult street jazz teacher, has been a key figure in our school since she was a child. She teaches dance with joy, good humor, and laughter, while radiating femininity and self-confidence.

ANAÏS GUILLOT
A certified and recognized teacher in France, Anaïs teaches modern dance, jazz, and gentle gym classes with passion and energy. Always attentive, she enjoys teaching, correcting, and guiding her students in mastering their technique, while sharing her valuable advice.

ASRIN CEKIC
Originally from Turkey, Asrin is a professional dancer and commercial hip-hop instructor. With numerous performances and performances under his belt, he passes on his expertise, flow, and unique energy to each of his students, preparing them to express themselves with confidence and style.

Internship teachers
The Monthey Dance Center welcomes the greatest teachers for its dance courses.
Derrick Alfonso Evans
Since 1988, Evans has enjoyed a distinguished career as an internationally renowned choreographer, performer, and director. Originally from St. Thomas, USA, Evans was named a Presidential Scholar in Dance at WMU. He completed the university's dance major in 1988. He returned to WMU in 2000 to complete his degree.
As a dancer, Evans has performed with many renowned dance companies, including the Cori Terry/Wellspring Dance Collaborative, River North Chicago Dance Company, and Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. He has toured the country with Sweet Charity as Big Daddy. He has appeared in commercials for JC Penny, K-Mart, Levi's, and Intel, and has performed with a host of artists, including Liza Minnelli, Dionne Warwick, and Michael Jackson. Evans works as a choreographer. He has created works for Motion Mania Dance Theatre in Maryland, the Monthey Dance Center in Switzerland, and the WMU Department of Dance, to name a few. He has choreographed numerous commercials for companies such as Foot Locker, ATT, Reebok, Nautica, and Nike, as well as several musicals. His work as assistant choreographer for the off-Broadway musical Four Guys Named Jose was honored with a HOLA Award nomination, and he was one of four choreographers featured in the Emmy Award-winning PBS documentary on the River North Chicago Dance Company.
In 2005, Evans was also co-choreographer of the Opening Ceremony of the European Youth Winter Olympic Games in Switzerland.
Gablina Maryna
Originally from Ukraine, since my early childhood I dreamed of dancing and working with children.
I started dancing at the age of 6 in a professional children's group and at 8 I passed my exams at the choreographic school of the Virsky national company, studying various dance disciplines.
At the age of 16, I entered the Virsky National Company Studio, and then received the qualification "Ballet Artist".
During my studies, I did an internship in this company and at the age of 18, I got a place there, and I entered the State Academy of Management Personnel of Culture and Arts of Ukraine to specialize as "choreographer", "ballet master" and "dance teacher", in order to complete the professional training.
I have also been teaching at the MDC dance school in Monthey since 2010.
